Company Profile

Gary Gonzalez, Chuck Whiteley, and Dennis Poulin founded the company in 2001 as Best Tel with a combined experience of over 50 years in the telecom industry.  With that, they decided to bring even greater resources to the company and made the decision to become a member of Technology Assurance Group (TAG), an international organization that provides the competitive advantages necessary to propel unified communications companies to regional dominance.

In 2002, the three purchased Americom’s Portland, Oregon office, along with a solid base in Washington, expanding their footprint in the Pacific Northwest and adding more technical expertise to their team. 

In 2004, Tamara Gonzalez joined the ownership team after nine years experience in the industry with a background in consulting, sales and training.  After Dennis retired in 2009, Gary, Chuck and Tamara decided it was time for a name change.  In response to the ever-evolving world of technology, the three renamed the company TouchPoint Networks to reflect its transition into the world of unified communications.

Over the last several years, TouchPoint Networks has added numerous technologies to its repertoire of solutions above and beyond IP telephony like data networking, cloud services, video surveillance, video conferencing, and wireless nurse call systems.  TouchPoint Networks truly represents the company’s ability to be the all encompassing technology provider for their customers. “Throughout the years, we’ve learned that our customers appreciate our proactive approach to solving problems and expanding our expertise into these new areas,” said company President Gary Gonzalez.
