TouchPoint Networks Receives Award Amongst Tech Leaders
PORTLAND, OR – TouchPoint Networks, a leading managed technology services provider (MTSP), announced today that Tamara Gonzalez Vice President and Partner, has been recognized at a national convention for being one of the top women in technology. Gonzalez received the “Women in Technology” award at the Technology Assurance Group (TAG) 22 nd Annual Convention in Charleston, SC. The event took place at the Charleston Marriott and was filled with the industry's top managed technology services providers (MTSPs). Gonzalez was celebrated for her role as a leader in the community and was acknowledged for building a very successful company in a field that is predominantly comprised of men. The awarding organization, TAG, is an organization of independently-owned MTSPs who collectively represent nearly $800M in products and services.
Gonzalez's approach to leadership is evident in her philosophy towards achievement. “It was definitely satisfying for our company to be acknowledged among such a talented group of technology business owners, but this award doesn't just belong to me, it belongs to our entire team,” stated Gonzalez. “One of the things I'm proudest of is the culture that we've built at TouchPoint Networks. We've taken wholistic employee and customer centric approach to getting things done and it's very satisfying to see our company excelling.
